I woke up one mornin'
lookin' for somethin' t'eat
I grabbed me up a handful of candy
and I shoved it way down deep
Well, it worked its way out slowly
took damn near a week
I said:
"That looks like gold to me"

(chorus)
Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah
That's what I said
Oh yeah
Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah
Caaaa-ha-an-deee
(chorus)

Let's pop on the TV
See what's on today
To me it's all sweet candy
there is nothing you can say
I've got a soap opera for a heart
a sit-com of a mind
Raise my kids up on this stuff
They're bound to turn out fine

(chorus)

The earth is just a treat, man
A hard rock candy ball
It's got a cream filled center underneath
with sugar for us all
So work it far back in your cheek
melt it on your tongue
Crack it 'tween your wisdom teeth
yeah, let them flavors run

(chorus repeat ad nauseum)
